The MEWA Key FOB acts as a source of power and authorization to the lock. It is handed over to the end user, single MEWA Key FOB can operate multiple MEWA Cam Locks thereby bringing accountability to user as well as date and time specific access control mechanism. MEWA Key is retained in lock in unlock Condition to ensure lock is not left in open condition.

1. How many times can MEWA Key be used on a single battery charge?
Supports 500 key presses on a single charge. If battery is depleted, use a new key and continue operations.
2. What happens if a key is lost or stolen?
Designed to be active for period of time (x hours). If key is lost or stolen, it will expire and must be reactivated before it can be used again.
An Online version of MEWA key can be de-activated remotely over a LoRa network, allowing the key to be de-activated in real-time, rather than waiting for it to expire.
